I have SwiftKey installed on my Moto G, but to be honest, I don’t use it as much as I thought I would. Even with its swipe technology, I find myself typing normally, letter by letter, and sometimes that can be a slow process (I sometimes confuse letters and end up deleting an entire word because of a mistake).
Google wants to solve that problem with Google Handwriting Input, an app that enables you to, you guessed it, use handwriting instead of a digital keyboard.
Setting up the app is very easy. After downloading and installing the app, open it and accept Google´s terms and conditions (you may want to read those, because the app “sees” what you´re writing to enhance its prediction enginge).

Then, enable the keyboard by selecting it from the list of keyboards available on your device (if you have none, the stock option will be the only one listed). The next step is to download your language, and select Google Handwriting Input to start using it (this may seem like a repeated step, but it´s not).
At the bottom of the screen, you can download as many languages as you like and help Google improve its hand recognition system. Google Handwriting Input could prove to be a great app, if you want to write faster on your Android tablet or phone.
