I’m from Mexico and, as you may have guessed it, English is not my native language. Thankfully, I just found a tool that will help me improve my grammar and writing skills for when I post content on eliaspelcastre.com.
Grammarly – an online website intended to help you improve your communication skills – now offers a Chrome extension that checks everything you write on your browser.
To use it, you just need to download the free extension and log in with your Grammarly details. If you don’t have an account, you can register at no cost on the website.
Grammar check on Facebook
When writing this article on WordPress, Grammarly displayed a green circle with a white arrow spinning around and checking all the time for grammatical mistakes. If you press on the button, Grammarly will let you know of any “critical” mistakes made.
You can also highlight any word on the text to see a green or red arrow, and know if you used it incorrectly. Grammarly also works with Facebook, Twitter and e-mails, so you can rest assured you’re writing properly every time you use an online communication service.
Grammarly has a $29 monthly tier, but says the extension is completely free. Try it and let us know your thoughts in the comment section.
