Google Messenger

If you’re an Android user, and more specifically, a Google Messenger user, good news. The mobile app has received an upgrade that I’m sure, a lot of people will appreciate.

Messenger has gone up to version number 1.4, which includes the following improvements:

  • You can now share your exact or close location on Messenger, thanks to Google Maps
  • There are new stickers that you can download, some of them with movement. Once you add a sticker to a message, the receiver will get it as an MMS
  • A new bar to move swiftly between messages

As always, the new version will be rolled out slowly. So, if you can’t wait to try these new features, you can download the APK file here – just make sure you have the “Unknown sources” option enabled on the Settings menu of your Android device.

After installing the app, you will notice a new location button inside the Attach section, on the left side of the composing bar. At the centre of this section, you will also find new sticker packs that you can download and add to your text messages.

This way you will be able to do more with the Google Messenger app. Please, let me know your ideas on the comment section below 😉
