Mbasic Facebook gives you a more basic, but faster social experience on a mobile browser

MBasic Facebook

Checking what topics were trending in Australia (you know, so I can share with people around the world useful information) I just noticed that one of the main topics is “mbasic facebook”.

To be honest with you, I didn’t know what that meant until now.

MBasic Facebook enables you to access a faster but basic Facebook website on your mobile devices – ie Android, iPhone or iPad. Once you login with your usual credentials you will notice a vertical distribution of the main feed.

Buttons like profile, messages, notifications and chat are displayed as a menu on the top of the screen for easy access.

MBasic Facebook loads pretty fast and consumes very little Internet, which is perfect for people who have a limited mobile Internet plan. Images and videos are still displayed on the feed but in a smaller size.

On the bottom of the screen you can choose your language and report a problem, as well as have access to your groups, and notes.

I think MBasic Facebook is a great idea that enables people to read their Facebook content without spending too much data in their mobile device. What do you think of MBasic Facebook?
