Spotlight Stories, Google’s new immersive app for iPhone and iPad

Spotlight Stories has been available for Android since mid-May, and the app has just made the jump to iOS devices.

Available for free for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, the app offers stories that make use of a range of effects to offer an immersive experience.

At the moment, I can only see four stories on the “Browse” section: Help, Duet, Buggy night and Windy day. If you tap on one of them, you will see a description and a download button with a megabyte estimate.

If you are interested in one of the stories, I would advise you to hurry and download it, as some of them are available for a limited time only.Downloading a story depends on your internet connection and may take a while.

If you want top “read” the story is on your device just tap on the play button. You can interact with Spotlight Stories by tapping on the screen or tilting your device; and you can always resume your “reading” if you need to do something else.

I think Spotlight Stories offers a very interesting option when it comes to interact with a story on a mobile device. Although Google scaled down the iPad version and didn´t offer native support.

You can download Google Spotlight Stories free of charge for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch with iOS 8 or later. Please let me know if you liked the app on the comment section below.
