Flying requires an app to do the check in, to know the weather at your destination, to make a list of the things you need to take with you and to track your flight.
App in the Air wants to be your “airport guide” and pack all those apps in one place. The main display enables you to enter your flight details or try the app’s features if you don’t have a trip booked.
App in the Air provides the gate, a check-in reminder and the details of your flight. You can also see the weather at the departure and arrival locations, as well as a review of the services provided by your airline (food, service and the overall flight).
Apps for traveling
Interact with Facebook friends around you and share your internet connection straight from the app. You can also create a list of items – like razors, shampoo, and toothpaste – to take on your flight.
To add a new itinerary simply tap on the airplane button on the lower left corner of the screen. You can set a new flight by entering your departure and arrival dates or by importing the flight details from TripIt.
App in the Air is fully compatible with iPad and offers an iPhone 6 Plus version – two things I liked. The app also has a very plain and simplistic interface that fits with iOS 8.
App in the Air puts all your traveling apps in one place. What do you think of the app? Let me know in the comments section.
