I got an email from PayPal that got my attention. The worldwide payment system has teamed up with Spotify to poach some users from Apple Music.
The mail I got reads “months free of Spotify Premium” and asks me if “I love music”. According to PayPal, all you have to do to get two free months of Spotify Premium is subscribe to the streaming service using this type of payment.

Obviously, conditions apply: you need to subscribe between August 10 and September 20 using PayPal.

The “eligibility” is limited, and you have to be a brand new customer. That means that you shouldn’t have taken the 30 or 60-day free trial.

I recommend you use a different card from the one you used to get hooked to Spotify Premium. PayPal requires a card to work, and Spotify will identify if you have already used your plastic to try the streaming service for free.

Spotify free two month trial with PayPal

PayPal points out in the terms and conditions that after you use the free two-month promotion you will be charged the standard Spotify fee unless you cancel your subscription before the trial ends.

What I can get there from browsing the web is that the promotion is available in several countries. I noticed some UK and German websites had shared the promotion.

Did you get the email from PayPal? Are you going to make use of the promotion? Let me know below.
