The iPhone camera app lets you record time lapse and slow-mo videos separately. You can either have a very slow video or a super fast recording, but not both at the same time.
Flow set itself the task of changing that. The app enables you to mix slow-motion and high-speed effects on one video with just a few simple adjustments.
Available for free for a limited time, Flow has a very colorful and simple interface. The main screen is divided into 12 boxes, three of which include a demo, a user guide and an “Import all videos” button.
You can import individual videos from your library, and export projects to the native video app. All your creations will appear on the boxes in the home for easy access.
The project screen displays a graphic with points; move them up and down to increase or reduce the video’s speed, and add instant effects like infrared, horror and black and white. Flow has a preview feature that shows your creations before you save them on your device (this helps you avoid taking up space on your iPhone).
Flow also enables you to import songs from your music library to add a different touch to your videos.
To save a creation in your library, tap on the “Export” button. Once Flow finishes the process, go to the iPhone’s video library, where you can share your slow-mo/fast recording on WhatsApp, Facebook and email.
I have to point out the app crashed several times while trying to import videos from the camera library. Flow has a $2.99 price tag, but you can get it for free until Sunday – the app requires iOS 7 or later to work.
