Mac Version

Have you ever imagined controlling your android device from your computer? Maybe you’ve wanted to send a message through an app only available on a mobile device. Perhaps you’ve wanted to play a mobile game on a bigger screen but never really wanted to spend your hard earned cash on an MHL cable compatible with your device. If you can relate to any of the aforementioned things, then you might be interested in the new Chrome application: Vysor.

Vysor Beta lets you use your phone from your computer

Vysor
Vysor is made by the well-known developer group ClockWorkMod and, as many of their programs and applications, works really well. Remember that, though it functions as it should, there might be some rough edges since it still is in a beta phase and should hopefully work even better when the full version is released.

It is fairly simple to setup Vysor; all you need is Google Chrome, if you don’t already have it, ADB drivers, and finally a USB cable.

The Vysor app will assist you if you don’t how to acquire the specific drivers to get your device up and running, it will also instruct you in finding the ADB toggle in the developer options.

Remember that it is still in an early stage so it might not be as fast or smooth as you’d expect, with that being said it still serves to demonstrate the potential it has in becoming an Android emulator replacement and an overall better experience for those who wish to have full keyboard and mouse capabilities all while using a bigger and crisper screen.
