Twitter is on fire. iPhone 6 Plus users can now see their Twitter feed and timeline on landscape mode, and the desktop and mobile client enables people to send messages without a character limitation.
Now, you can pin tweets to your mobile profile. To do this, you need the latest Twitter app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Android smartphone or tablet. On iOS, it should be version 6.35.1, and according to the Play Store, the app version depends on your Android device.
Head to the Twitter app; open your profile and select a tweet. Tap on the three-dotted button and select “Pin to your profile”.
Pinning a tweet deletes previously pinned publications. You will see your pinned tweet on top of your profile whether you access your Twitter account on the computer, an iOS device or an Android smartphone or tablet.
To unpin a tweet, select the publication you pinned, and tap on the “Unpin from profile” button. That way your tweet will return to its original place in the timeline.
If you pin a tweet, you can make sure your publication doesn’t get lost among all your hundreds or thousands of tweets. It’s good to see this feature make the jump from desktop browsers to Twitter’s mobile client.
