Here’s another GIF app to try out. Giffiti lets you create GIFs in a very simple and straightforward fashion.
The app, available for iPhone and iPod Touch with a 2x version for iPad, takes photographs from your library and adds funny memes to them.

There’s not a lot to do inside Gifitti. After you open it, you will notice a white and blue “Choose photo” button in the middle of the screen, just above a “Share app” trigger.

Select an image from your library and crop it. After you tap on “Done” on the right corner, choose a meme from the wide range of options – Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Mario Bros, SpongeBob SquarePants, and the list goes on.

You can make the meme larger or smaller by leaving a finger on the arrows located on the lower right side of the meme, and dragging it up and down. Move the meme to any part of the photo and tap on “Share” to post to Instagram or Twitter, or save your creation to the camera roll.

Remember that the GIFs that you save to the device’s library won’t display the animation that you included in the picture. You have to share it on social media, or a website that supports GIFs for the animation to take effect.

The downside to Giffiti is that it add a”#Gifitti” tag to all your GIFs, one that you can’t resize or remove even with an in-app purchase.

Gifitti is completely free and requires iOS 8 or later. What do you think of the app? Please let me know in the comments section.
