How to try CBS All Access for free outside the US

The Big Bang Theory’s ninth season is coming to an end. If you live outside the US, chances are you have to wait to watch the latest episode until your local TV provider catches up with CBS’s prime-time show schedule.

Good news is you can get up to date with series nine on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch wherever you are thanks to All Access, CBS’s on-the-go subscription service. To do this, you will need three things: an American Apple ID, iTunes Store credit, and a VPN.

Open a US Apple ID by following this steps – no credit card required – and redeem $10 iTunes voucher either by buying it online or earning it on Free My Apps. Now download the CBS free app and subscribe in the Settings section, top left of the screen.

CBS won’t charge you after accepting the 7-day free trial, and you can cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID’s preferences. Otherwise, you´ll end up paying $6.99 a month.

To watch an episode, you will need a VPN – Ark VPN offers hours of free tunneling. Pick a US location in the app and turn the tunneling on before tapping play on a CBS episode.

Now you’ll be able to watch “The Fermentation Bifurcation”, episode 22 of The Big Bang’s series 9, legally on your mobile device. Although CBS displays three ads during an episode, and you can’t stream content to your Apple TV outside the US due to copyright issues, All Access is a cool way to enjoy CBS prime-time shows on your Apple gadgets.
