I’ve been using the Galaxy S8 for a while, and one of its coolest features is the ability to split the screen and use two apps at the same time. Browsing the Play Store, I found an alternative for Android phones that don`t come with a split screen feature.
Split Screen Creator takes two apps and puts them together so you can use them simultaneously. It’s not as straightforward as you would think, but it doesn`t take that much to learn how to use it. Download the free app, now keep your fingered press to the home screen to bring the customization menu.
Select the widget option and look for the Split Screen Creator option. You will be able to choose two apps from your phone and set a label that you can recognize. Split Creator Screen will create a shortcut on your main screen; just tap it to run both apps and start multitasking.
Not all apps work with Split Screen Creator; there are apps that don’t allow split screen, like All 4 or BBC News (the screen will display a message telling you Split Screen in unavailable.)
Using Split Screen Creator is kind of useless when your phone runs Android Nougat, as it comes built into the system. But the app will be heaven-sent for users who have an older phone. Please leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
