How to try Disney Plus outside the Netherlands

Disney decided to give people in the Netherlands a free two month trial of its new streaming service, Disney Plus, which oficially launches on November 12 in the US, Canada and said country.

As Twitter user Sam Flash puts it, that is the “1 giant benefit of living in the Netherelands”, as not even streamers in the UK will get to try it in two months time.

If you can’t wait to see what Disney Plus has to offer, here’s what you will need to start using the service outside the Netherlands:

You can open an Apple ID on your Mac, iPhone or iPad, but you will need to download the Disney Plus app on your mobile device. After installing Surfshark VPN, fire up the Netherlands location and open Disney Plus.

The app will ask you for an email, a password, and a payment method, which in this case will be the €10 gift card that you can buy from Apple’s Netherlands website at no extra cost.

And that’s it. You get to enjoy Star Wars, Pixar movies, and other content months before the Netflix competitor launches around the globe. Just make sure to cancel the Surfshark trial to avoid a hefty $43 bill.
