Four new songs to check out this weekend

The weekend is upon us, and why not celebrate it with four new songs that will get you dancing, reflecting and waiting for your favorite artist’s upcoming album release.

“Til it happens to you,” Lady Gaga

“One in five college women will be sexually assaulted this year unless something changes,” reads the ending of Lady Gaga’s latest video Til it happens to you. The strongly-messaged single depicts “what is happening daily on college campuses”.

Lady Gaga states in the comment section of the YouTube video that a portion of the money made from the sale of the single will be donated to organizations that help survivors of sexual assault.

Til it Happens to you was written for the documentary The Hunting Ground and could be included in Gaga’s fifth studio album.

“On my mind,” Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding is back with a full album, Delirium, set to premiere on November 6. The British pop singer just released On my mind, the first single of the record, which you can enjoy on Spotify and Apple Music (the full version isn´t available on YouTube).

“Fade,” Kanye West

Kanye West “released” a new single of the rapper’s upcoming record SWISH during his Yeezy Season 2 fashion show. Fade features Ty Dolla $ign and Post Malone and samples “Deep Inside”, a house song by Hardrive. (If you´re on a mobile device, you can listen to the track here.)

“Runnin,” Naughty Boy and Beyoncé

Beyoncé is preparing a new record, but while we wait, you can listen to, Runnin’, her collaboration with Naughty Boy and Arrow Benjamin. What songs have you discovered that got you pumped up for the weekend? Please leave your comments below.
