Remember my post on why you should give Play Music a chance? You can add another reason to the list: Google is giving away three months of Play Music All Access for $1. That is 90 days for ONE dollar and not three months for $3.
The offer is available for new customers in the US (shocker), Canada, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, Brazil, and (woohoo!) Mexico. In the case of the last country, Google´s promotion translates to 9, and not $17 Mexican pesos, the current dollar exchange rate.
The Mexican Play Store displays a banner in the main carousel that makes it clear the discount is “limited time only” and that it is about to end. Play Music All Access gives you, well, access to over 30 million songs and personalized radio stations on iOS, Android, and the web.
And, if you read my previous article, you know the streaming service also entitles you to YouTube Red, an ad-free and offline YouTube experience both on mobile (iPhone and Android) and desktop devices.
I have used my credit card to try Play Music before, so I don´t qualify for the discount. I regret trying Google´s streaming service for 30 days at no cost, instead of paying 9 MXN for 90 months (instead of 277 MXN). Oh well, live and learn.
